July was my busiest month ever as a professional calligrapher. I do believe that fall weddings are now more popular than June weddings. And there are so many beautiful invitation choices available. It is such a pleasure for me to address the envelopes.
My oldest daughter Hannah leaves August 15 for college. I'm not ready for my little birdie (well, she's 5'11' and not so little anymore) to leave the nest. I saw a toddler in a stroller at Target the other day that looked like Hannah when she was little and I burst into tears. Hannah will only be about 90 minutes away at ECU. Hannah is a talented artist (truly, she is!) and plans to get a BFA in illustration & graphic design. We are really excited about ECU and their art department. My husband and I met while attending UNC-Chapel Hill - but we're ready to switch our allegiances to ECU - Arrrgh! Go Pirates!
